When operating with CFC-free refrigerants, there is often only an inadequate lubrication effect; the consequence is heavy wear.
If the steel vanes are coated with BALINIT®, there is a decisive reduction of the wear of the compressor vanes and cam ring.

Screw compressors
Conventional air compressors are designed as synchronised compressors, running dry, or as unsynchronised compressors with oil injection.
With BALINIT®-coated compressor screws, unsynchronised pneumatic compressors can also work reliably with water injection in place of oil injection.
The coating prevents scuffing and wear, so complex timing gear designs are no longer necessary.
