BALINIT® coatings are approved by both the RCC (Registration and Consulting Company) and the FDA (Federal Drug Administration) for use in the food processing industry.
Metering pistons
Coating with BALINIT® CNI significantly improves the operation of
metering pistons for filling jams. The spillage of fruit acid and
condensation during operational standstill often lead to corrosion. In
addition, seals can cause abrasive wear. With a BALINIT® CNI
coating, the filling stations can operate for many months without
maintenance.
