BALINIT® MICRAN, an ultra-thin, nano-structured TiAlN coating, was developed especially for micro-tools with diameters from 0.1 mm upwards. The high hardness of the coating protects against abrasive wear. The tools withstand high cutting forces and thermal stresses. The low frictional coefficient facilitates the formation and flow of chips.Recommended applications:
