When operating with CFC-free refrigerants, there is often an inadequate lubrication effect; the consequence is heavy wear.
If the steel vanes are coated with BALINIT®, there is a decisive wear reduction of the compressor vanes and cam rings.

Screw compressors
Conventional air compressors are designed for synchronised dry running or unsynchronised operation with oil injection.
With BALINIT®-coated compressor screws, unsynchronised pneumatic compressors also work reliably with water injection in place of oil injection.
The coating prevents scuffing and wear, the complex design of synchronised gears is no longer necessary.
