Plastic injection moulding machines
Sliding components of plastic injection moulding tools, such as
ejectors, pushers or threaded cores are effectively protected by
BALINIT® C against wear and scuffing. The coating is a must if the end
products are not allowed not come into contact with contaminated
lubricants and release agents.
With its anti-adhesive properties, BALINIT® reduces the adhesion of the
melt to screw tips, back-flow valves, nozzles and shut-off needles.
Threaded cores
When injection moulding caps and closures for pharmaceutical packaging,
no lubricant or release agent may be used. Threaded cores coated with
BALINIT® extended the service interval of the 30-cavity tool from one
week to over 8 months. Reliable mould release and 10% shorter cycle
times resulted in 20% higher productivity.
